The current w32 build of KVirc (3.2.6) seems to leak socket buffer memory, which results in window's inability to create tcp/ip connections.
I stopped using kvirc after this (it happened several months ago), so I haven't seen the error since, but was hoping a more recent w32 build/snapshot could be made.
The situation was something like this: Firefox suddenly began reporting that it couldn't connect to websites like Google, so of course I ran the usual connection tests (ping, etc.), all of which failed. KVirc was still showing active IRC connections so I just left to go watch a movie. When I came back, I still couldn't create outbound (or presumably receive inbound) connections, but one of my IRC connections had become disconnected while I was away. The reconnect messages showed me an error I have never before seen and have yet to see again: "Socket buffer full." (I forget the exact text, but it was along those lines. Also, note that I have KVirc set to retry unlimited times when reconnecting, at 3 second intervals. This can result it well over 1000 connection attempts while I wait for servers to come back online.) I had restarted Firefox numerous times at this point so I was pretty sure it wasn't the culprit. I then closed KVirc, and suddenly all of my other applications could create outgoing connections again, including KVirc when I opened it back up.
I've only encountered this once, and I don't have much time to help a developer debug it right now, so this post is more of a request for a new snapshot than anything else.
