Whenever I connect to a server using KvIRC with my school network, it works fine, but when I try to connect from my home network, I keep getting this:

Chatzilla also does not work, but mibbit does. Last I checked, my firewall settings permit KVIRC to run,so I don't think it's that. I also have Avast and Spybot S&D on my comp. I am running version 4.04 of KvIRC and my OS is Windows 7 Ultimate.

Well Mibbit is browser based and works on port 80 I guess - as an ordinary browser requests.
But since both Chatzilla and Kvirc won't work, it means the connectivity problem. Most likely caused by
1) your PC firewall;
2) your router firewall;
3) your provider firewall
You can start by cautiously turning off your firewalls and antiviruses.
