In mirc you can get the time spend online in mirc by calling $duration($online) and ofcourse KVirc must have some variables for that as it is used in APPLET's. Could anyone be kind enough and tell me what variables is used in KVirc?

With High Regards,
Karsten

No such function exists in kvirc 4.0.1. You should save the "connection start" time at the OnIRC event and then conveniently use $date and $unixtime to retrieve the number of seconds since the connection start.
I've just committed r5574 that adds the $context.connectionStartTime and $context.lastMessageTime functions to avoid the need of saving the connection time.
